I have a very fun post to share today! I’m doing a surprise twin mani with Courtney aka Breed Loves Hoops over at Polished Lifting! We chose this captivating base color from Glam Polish that she swatched and I had to have. Our only other known similarity is it’s Halloween themed. As much as I’m excited to share this with you, I’m way more thrilled to see what Courtney has cooked up. Let’s get to it!
Glam Polish – So Much Less Dead Than I Expected
First, allow me to show you the polish that played catalyst to our little production. This is Glam Polish’s So Much Less Dead Than I Expected! As soon as I saw it, I knew it would be mine. I love the stark contrast of bright, cool green, with the warming aurora shimmer and of course those bold, red flakes. The overall look gives texture and leans into that zombie-flesh look. That’s not just me, is it?
I was once again entranced when I saw Courtney’s picture of the polish! Her invitation to work on a twin mani yielded this fun exchange.
Skulls and Roses and Webs. Oh My!
For this look, my main desire was to not draw too much away from the base. I wanted to have some Halloween features but still let the boldness of that polish to do some talking.
The images are from Lina’s Spookilicious 02 and Make Your Mark 08 Plates. I also used the web from my Ejiubas 04 plate.
Courtney! Thank you so much for inviting me to art with you and for being so patient with my fantastic IG messaging skills!
Be sure to hop over to Polished Lifting to see Courtney’s mani. I kinda hate that I have to wait to see it! 😂

Yours is incredible! I love what you did with the decals. I was having a heck of a time figuring out how to make it tie in, and you did it perfectly. Thanks for twinning with me =)
Thank you! Yours is perfectly themed and still shows off that seriously stunning polish. I’d love to do this again!
