Hi there! I hope your week has been going well. Today, I have a fun set of polishes by Lexi of Painted Polish by Lexi! Her latest six-piece features a fun array for Spring to Summer forward shades with a heavy dose of intergalactic flare. Let’s take a look at the Space Sorbet Collection!
Space Sorbet Collection (Limited Edition)
Peach Pulsar
Peach Pulsar has a peach crelly base with nude holographic micro-glitters mixed within. There is a rough texture because of the microglitters but this is easily smoothed over with topcoat. I’m wearing two coats with a glossy topcoat.
$11.00
Mango Meteor
Here we have Mango Meteor! It looks so juicy! This polish has nude holographic micro glitters in a vibrant mango crelly base. Again, there is some texture here that is easily rectified with topcoat. I’m wearing two coats with a glossy topcoat.
$11.00
Strawberry Supernova
For Strawberry Supernova, we have the nude holographic micro glitters making an appearance again, this time in a light pink crelly base. Similar to the first two, there is a rough texture when this polish dries down. I’m wearing two coats with a glossy topcoat.
$11.00
Creamsicle Comet
Creamsicle Comet has the same peach-orange base in Peach Pulsar. Mixed in are pink, orange, lime, and gold metallic and holographic glitters. Lexi informs that because of the pigment used to make this polish, the glitters have a tendency to settle to the bottom of the bottle. While I did notice a bit of settle, it was nothing a good shake couldn’t repair. It also didn’t hinder the distribution of glitters during application. These glitters do leave back a bit of bumpiness though. I’m wearing two coats with a glossy topcoat.
$10.00
Bubblegum Blast-Off
Here we have Bubblegum Blast-Off! The base here is a light bubblegum pink with the addition of pink, orange, and gold metallic and holographic glitters. This polish suffers the same possibility of sinking glitters as the previous, but this did not hinder my application. The pretty glitters in there did leave back some texture. I’m wearing two coats with a glossy topcoat.
$10.00
Sour Apple Space Junk
Wrapping things up is Sour Apple Space Junk! My favorite from this collection! Sour Apple Space Junk has pink, orange, lime, and gold metallic and holographic glitters in a lemon-line crellly base. Again, Lexi issues the same alert about sinking glitters, something easily rectified with a good shake. Once more, we have some texture after drying but nothing some topcoat cannot fix. I’m wearing two coats with a glossy topcoat.
$10.00

Gorgeous swatches Kiz! I always appreciate seeing swatches on chocolate-y skin tones like mine; it helps the decision to buy process. 🙂 I was thinking of pairing Lexi’s “surprise” “non-mystery” polish with Strawberry Supernova, but the LE surprise polish is already sold out. 😮😩🤷🏽♀️
These do look fab! I love the green 😀
