Greetings, friends! I hope you’ve been enjoying your weekend! If not, maybe this post can help brighten it up a bit. If yes, then how about a cherry on top! Lexi from Painted Polish is celebrating her 7th year! To mark this occasion, she created the Match Made in Denin Collection. Lexi was inspired by the classic blue Pantone Color of the Year for this five-piece. Also included in this post is her Out of the Vault Shade! Let’s take a look!

Match Made in Denim Collection

Here’s To 7 Years

Here’s To 7 Years was the first polish I tried from the Match Made in Denim Collection! I was immediately smitten. It has a is a rich midnight blue base with sparkling silver holographic glitters, a delicate holographic finish, and soft copper shimmer. The polish has that deep, intense look that is offset by the sparkles. I’m wearing two coats with a glossy topcoat.

Smarty Pants

Between the denim theme and the name of this polish, I couldn’t get Will Ferrel’s “Tight Pants” out of my head. It has absolutely nothing to do with any of this. Your welcome!

Smarty Pants has a luscious ultramarine blue jelly base that houses nude holographic micro glitters a-plenty. It is way more sparkly than it appears in my photos. In keeping with a micro glitter polish, there is a sandpaper-like texture left after the polish has dried. This is an easy fix by using a coat or two of topcoat. Here, I’m wearing two coats of Smarty Pants followed by two coats of topcoat.

$11.00

Denim Daze

Denim Daze is the only flakie crelly in the Match Made in Denim Collection! Here we have a cool cornflower blue crelly base that works as a great home for the rainbow of color-shifting metallic flakes mixed in. I didn’t experience any issues with the flakies; they laid well and dried down relatively smooth. I’m wearing two coats with a glossy topcoat.

$12.00

Blue Jean Baby

Blue Jean Baby solidified for me that I’m a sucker for these copper-toned metallic glitters. In this polish, they come in an earthy mix of copper, bronze, and desert gold. There’s enough clarity in the indigo blue crelly base to allow those beauties to shine through. It’s definitely one of my favorites in this collection. I’m wearing two coats with a glossy topcoat.

$10.00

Stamped in Denim

Oowee!! We’ve got a stamping polish! I always get excited about those, can’t help it. Stamped in Demin is, as you may have guessed a denim blue creme. This one wore as a true one coat polish for me and also stamped beautifully. It’s shown down below!

While I’m not prone to staining, I did get a tiny bit of staining around my cuticle area. If you are sensitive to staining, I would suggest wearing a reliable basecoat to protect your nails. When removing, oil around your cuticles to prevent the polish remnants from adhering.

I’m wearing one coat with a glossy topcoat.

Out of the Vault Shade: Rainbow Reef

Rainbow Reef was previously released in 2016 and now it’s back! As far as I know, this is the same recipe as the previous version. So, if you’ve been longing for this beauty since then, here’s your chance!

Rainbow Reef is a white crelly polish with a mix of bright purple, navy, and emerald green small-sized hex metallic glitters. The glitters are nicely balanced and you don’t really have to think about placement when brushing. There is some texture after drying but topcoat helps with that. I’m wearing three coats with a glossy topcoat.
