Sacha of Jior Couture has (nearly) monthly collaborations with her swatchers and they’ve all been incredible! It’s a great way of getting to know some of your favorite swatchers even better through the themes they’ve chosen. My girl Lelia chose the show The Vampire Diaries as the inspiration for her collab and it’s just dripping with fun, darkness, and allure. You don’t need to be a fan of the show to appreciate this collection; there’s something here for everyone! Let’s go ahead and sink our teeth into it!
The Vampire Diaries Collaboration
Lelia expounded on why she chose the characters she did for her collaboration with Sacha. I will add her quotes as part of this post as they really paint a picture of her love for this show and characters.
The Hunter Of Mystic Falls
Alaric
The Hunter of Mystic Falls is designed for Alaric, the main hunter in the series! (Remember Jeremy??) The polish is a medium grey holographic with a beautiful aqua-blue flash. This applies very close to one coat but I’m wearing two coats in these pictures.
$11.00
Alaric is the teacher chaperone from hell by day and by night he hunts vampires.
Phasmatos Motus Incendiarios
Bonnie
Bonnie with her incantations, bloody noses and her Jeremy! Phasmatos Motus Incendiarios is a tri-thermal is a rich brick red when cold, shifting to orange then yellow when warm. In all phases, chameleon flakes and a fiery gold shimmer can be seen throughout. I’m wearing two coats with a glossy topcoat.
$12.00
There’s no denying that Bonnie is a supreme witch. One of the baddest Bennett witches to ever do it!
Be Warned, I’m In A Mood
Caroline
Well, this name is very fitting for me and her. This is a very pleasant, shimmery olive, very much unlike our dear Caroline! A strong gold shimmer is seen throughout. There is a slight possibility for brushstrokes because of the shimmery base of this polish; just be aware of this during your application. I’m wearing two coats with a glossy topcoat.
$10.00
Caroline has smarts and sass to take down any evil that comes through Mystic Falls.
Hello, Brother
Damon
Lelia and I may or may not have had a standoff over our love for Ian and those crazy blue eyes. Hello, Brother is lush black holographic base with vibrant pops of color from sultry blue microglitter.
$11.00
Get lost in the sea of Damon’s baby blues.
Dear Diary,
Elena
Oh Elena, that poor thirsty, confused girl! Dear Diary is a gorgeous plum scattered holographic base brimming with chameleon flakes! This is a fantastic mix of Fall and vampy presence. I’m wearing two coats with a glossy topcoat.
I’ve also added a low light picture to show how dense the flakes are in there.
$12.00
Elena, dear Elena. Bless her heart! She died came back, turned evil, died then came back again…this girl has been through it!
I’m A Ripper
Stefan
I’m A Ripper is designed after our hungry Stefan! This magnetic has a warm redwood base that pulls brownish-red with a copper shimmer accent when the magnet is applied. Some slight brush strokes are evident in unmagnetized phase, so bear that in mind during application. I used my arch magnet to get this effect. I’m wearing three coats with a glossy topcoat.
I’ve included unmagnetized shots of this polish to show you both phases.
$11.00
If you can look past the murderous, head ripping evil that is Stefan Salvatore you’ll see he’s just a…well a vampire.
What a fun, mixed collection that is also Fall appropriate!
