Today, I have The Neverending Story Collection from Femme Fatale Cosmetics to share with you. I’m posting these a bit later than I wanted to, being caught up in the whirlwind of home life, but here we are! They’re still absolutely stunning and you can still have them if they give you heart eyes! Also, if you’re a Neverending Story fan, this collection might make these two worlds collide in a most beautiful way!
The Neverending Story Collection – Femme Fatale
The Neverending Story is a well known 1984 movie based on a book of the same title. I honestly don’t remember watching The Neverending Story movie. Maybe when I was really young, since some of the scenes and snippets have an echo of familiarity for me. As with most fandom inspired collection, my knowledge or lack thereof of the movie does not hinder my enjoyment of the shades.
Rock Biter was the first to grab my eye from this collection. The base is a warm nude with a leaning of purple, black matte and holographic glitters in mixture of sizes, and a strong turquoise shimmer. The glitters create a fun, speckled look which I enjoy. I’m wearing three coats with a glossy topcoat.
The Southern Oracle
The Southern Oracle is faint, cold blue with frosty green shimmers and scattered holographic glitters. The blue hint shows up a lot more in person and the holographic glitters sparkle like crazy. I’m wearing three thin coats with a glossy topcoat.
Here is Childlike Empress! The base here is a soft grey that leans rose pink giving it a bit of a champagne look on me. Childlike Empress is filled with red-to-green shifting iridescent glitters and scattered silver holographic glitters and flecks. I’m wearing two coats with a glossy topcoat.
The Two Sphinx
It’s no surprise that The Two Sphinx will be one of my favorites from the collection! What I find most intriguing about this shade is the dark purple base. At angles, the purple underbelly peaks through, adding the violet tilt to this olive gold multichrome. A smattering of scattered holographic flecks and flakes add additional pops of color. The Two Sphinx would be a one-coater for daily wear but in these photos, I’m wearing two coats with a glossy topcoat.
Desert of Shattered Hopes
Desert of Shattered Hopes is the brightest of the collection! This beauty is a bright yet warm terracotta base with a fierce gold to green shifting shimmer and shy pinch of scattered holographic particles. The reddish-coral depth appears at angles but the shimmer is the real star here! This is a great shade that straddles the Summer/Fall colors. Like quite a few others in the collection, it comes very close to a one coater but I’m wearing two coats with a glossy topcoat in these pictures.
Luckdragon is a lively ruby red scattered holographic. The holographic sparkles here aren’t imposing on the shade, but provide the perfect tiny bursts of color. Again, this wears almost as a one-coater, but in these photos, I’m wearing two coats with a glossy topcoat.
See Straight Into Your Heart
The darkest of the collection is See Straight Into Your Heart. This is a warm, rich berry purple jelly, loaded with particles shifting red to copper and a pinch of holographic glitters. Nice and squishy, I’m wearing two coats with a glossy topcoat.
The Nothing is a deep, luxurious ruby with a faint teal tinge. This teal hue, more apparent to the naked eye, gives off a bit of a purple look to the shade. There’s also a beautiful satin glow from the dark red shimmers. I’m wearing two coats with a glossy topcoat.
Creature Of Darkness
Finally, we have Creature of Darkness; the thermal of the collection! I’ll be showing both cool and warm states at the end, but here, we can appreciate this beauty in transition. When warm, Creature of Darkness is a cool, frosty lavender, and when cool, a medium berry purple. A pronounced turquoise shimmer and scattered holographic glitters can be seen in both states. Here, I’m wearing two coats with a glossy topcoat.
For this look, I started off with a gradient using Luckdragaon and See Straight To Your Heart then stamped using an image from the Feeling Shapely 09 plate from Lina Nail Art!
The Neverending Story Collection from Femme Fatale is now available from their stockists and will be relaunched on their website later in October and December.
