I have four polishes to share with you from the lovely Stephanie of Dimension Nails. These four beauties are in celebration of the cold and frosty Winter, in a mix of cremes and glitters. Stephanie is a devoted vegan and her line of products reflect her cruelty free lifestyle. Let’s take a look at what she has mixed up for us.
First up is the glittery Doe Glow. Doe Glow is a sparkly cornflower blue glitter polish in a clear base. This isn’t exactly full coverage right out of the bottle and needs sponging on for opacity. Whether sponging on or brushing, Doe Glow dries down to a textured finish and needs a good topcoat for that smooth look. In these pictures, I used two generous coats of Stephanie’s Quick Dry Topcoat, Water.
Doe Glow was created in collaboration with Genna Ellis.
Empath is a deep beige creme polish with the tiniest hint of pink. It’s such an easy to wear nude and I can see this one working for several skin tones. This polish is so pigmented and applies buttery smooth. I’m wearing just one coat with a glossy topcoat.
Ethical is the star of these four for me! This is a true blue creme, opaque in one single coat. Ethical is incredibly pigmented and vibrant. As with blues so intense, there is a propensity for staining. If you are prone, be careful of your cuticles and use a proven base coat. I wasn’t able to try, but I would be surprised if this polish did not stamp. I’m wearing one coat with a glossy topcoat.
Holo there, Snowflake!
Wrapping this chilly mix up is Mystical Rain. Mystical Rain is a blue holographic glitter in a clear base. Similarly to Doe Glow, this one takes sponging to build to that full coverage look. Alternatively, this can be worn in fewer coats over Ethical to bring out its depth. Mystical Rain dries down to a textured finish and a good topcoat is needed to smooth things down. Here, I’m wearing two generous coats of glossy topcoat.
Also, a good peel-off base coat is a must here. Unless scrubbing off glitters in your thing 😉
I decided to embrace the textured finish of the glitters and added some stars on top. I happen to like textured polishes so this was quite a fun look.
Whether you’re on the hunt for vegan polishes or just nail lacquer in general, Dimension Nails has something you’re sure to enjoy. I’m partial to those one-coater cremes!
