Baby Girl Lacquer is back in this round of the Polish Pickup! Before I get into what Nene has prepared for us, let me get everyone caught up on what Polish Pickup is. No one get’s left behind!
Polish Pickup is a fun Facebook Group where members submit and vote for one theme for the month. Afterward, indie makers create a polish or product based on the decided theme. Members can make purchases through the Polish Pickup website during the four-day shopping window, where you can pick as little or as many items as you desire. The flat rate shipping price of US $3.00/CAD $5.00 is the cherry on top. Evidenced by its rapid growth, PPU is a very clever concept that has introduced me to many new indie brands, as well as given a wider stage for smaller, well-loved ones.
Inspiration: Io (Jupiter’s Forth Moon)
Looks like a mozzarella ball to me! Nene thought it looked like a lost and found Jawbreaker. Whatever thoughts this image conjures, it led Nene to create a unique and fun shade that will be perfect for the Spring.
Io (Jupiter’s Moon)
Io is a bright chartreuse yellow crelly, with small multi-sized yellow, orange, and green hex glitters. Also, smaller, multi-sized gold, iridescent, and multi-chrome flakes are mixed in. I’m absolutely in love this polish! I used three coats and glossy top coat.
Nothing to report on the polish; a great consistency and quality. For clarity, bottle shown in my pictures is a smaller size just for swatches. When purchased, buyers will receive a 10ml sized bottle.
Polish costs: $11.00, no limit on purchases
Available for purchase, Friday, April 6th, 11 am EST, to Monday, April 9th, 11:59 pm EST from Polish Pickup Online
